11th Doctor charm bracelets

Eleven is my favorite Doctor, so of course I had to make bracelets with bowties and fezzes and other Eleven-y things :-) I came up with my own versions of bowties and managed to find a bead that looked a bit like a fez, then finally managed to find bowtie charms. (I'm working on an Eleven charm-only bracelet, and having fun searching the internet

I love your charm bracelets here--the blue and silver together are gorgeous, but it is the first pic that inspired me to make my own SGA bracelet! :D

*beams* That's my favorite one. It might not be the prettiest or most elegant, but it's the one that makes me feel the cleverest, for figuring out how to approximate a TARDIS and a sonic screwdriver and a bowtie and a fez and a Dalek from beads I already had :-) And I'm so glad it inspired you!!!

I should go take a photo of my Stargate bracelet and post it. I haven't completely tossed over Stargate for Doctor Who! (It's just a LOT easier to come up with DW themed stuff these days *sighs*)

Ah, well an open canon does make for more materials available to work with, doesn't it? What I wouldn't give for another weekly sci-fi show to fall in love with--preferably one starship based again. :-)

I hear you on another weekly sci-fi show to fall in love with! I mean, yeah, I love Doctor Who now, but TBH it's really Eleven that I love, so now that he's gone I don't look forward to watching DW the way I always looked forward to Stargate :-/ (Especially now that the Doctor is a cranky jerk, and everything's all dark and dismal :-P) There's almost nothing on that I actually look forward to each week anymore :-(

I hear you. I'm currently enjoying "Forever", though it is ridiculously implausible, and I'm looking forward to Agent Carter--but every time a commercial for it comes on, David mutters, "They better not screw it up" repeatedly. He knows me so well!

I told D the other day that we had enough television programs about superheroes and the supernatural. It was time to bring back some good old fashioned sci-fi. I'd love to see a show based on Starfleet Academy, or something else in the ST universe. It dawned on me the other day, too, that the Honor Harrington universe would make for an AWESOME television show, and why the heck hasn't someone approached David Weber for the rights to it?? :D
