Where's the Stargate stuff???
I confess, I've become a Pinterest addict. I LOVE having a centralized place *not* on my computer to save all the cool images I find on the internet. I've been having a great time checking out other people's boards, and pinning scifi stuff with wild abandon :-)
Unfortunately, I'm having a heck of a time finding Stargate stuff! I'm not talking about images, per se--those are easy enough to track down and pin from the MGM site or Gateworld, and I have a ridiculous number saved on my computer already that I could upload. But fan art, cartoons, crafty stuff, "demotivational" posters, that sort of thing? Not so easy.
It's not that there's a dearth of scifi images in general out there. I've found a mind-boggling amount of incredible Doctor Who art and craft on Pinterest, and lots of Firefly/Serenity, Star Trek, LOTR, and more. Just not much Stargate :-(
I've been whining talking to sgamadison about it trying to figure out what the deal is, and what to do about it.
Is there just not much out there?? If not, why not? The Whovians and the Browncoats and the Trekkies have loads of fan art/craft, so why don't we?
Or am I not looking in the right places?? I've searched on Pinterest and Etsy and Google, with not much success. So if any of you know where I can find cool stargate stuff to pin to my board (http://pinterest.com/acatseyeview/stargate/ ), *please* let me know :-)
Off to wander through Pinterest some more, and look for ideas that I can use to make my own Stargate stuff :-)
