What does it mean?

I found some  recordings I did of songs a few weeks ago. I decided to listen to them. Listening to the one I did of "Almost Lover" by A Fine Frenzy, I decided to check to see if I kept my pitch throughout the song. I was surprised to find I actually did. Not only did I keep my pitch, but it was the same key the song is in and I did not have it
