Today was a pleasant day. It started with muffins for breakfast.
Then I wore a new yellow dress to the BEST AUDITION EVER. Because I did my monologue and sang for a man, a woman, a pug dog and a maine coon cat. While standing on yellow shag carpet that matched my dress.
It's also my sister's birthday. She's 13. How crazy is that? She liked the gifts I gave her best. And she got a Rosie the Riveter muscle shirt from the Smithsonian (my dad got it for her) and I want one, so I am going to look for one online. She's still the coolest kid her age though.
Yesterday was my very fantabulous joint birthday party with ellen. HIghlights included Greta feeling her butt through our vintage lawn chairs, the butt cherry, my new 15' long scarf, purple bracelet, epic poem, japanese candy looking earrings, and a pocketbook/wallet thing made entirely out of a rainbow of zippers! The theme of the party quickly became butts, though there was also an ongoing discussion of who has the ulgliest feet, as well as questions like 'what would it feel like to have a mouse in your mouth?' and why Bethan's van smelt of toasted hamsters.
