First and foremost, I would like to state that the Manual Mock Trial Team Beat Mercy's ASS at the Regional competition on Saturday.
Secondly, my brother and I have decided that we need a new "you got served" type of phrase. So we birthed "you got stamped!!" (among the rejected were "you got marked," you got crayoned," and "you got mosaic-d.")
Thirdly, my brother was telling me about a discussion that took place in his english class. College english. A student used the word 'fuck' in a sentence and the teacher had a fit: "that's the second time I've heard that word used to day!! It's offensive!" ...no moreso than the discussion topic, which was wether some national sports teams should change their names to be politically correct with the native americans.
SO... I decided that I am going to choose a couple of good words that I find offensive too. They are: Milk. Saran-wrap. Carbon. and anything ending in 'tion.'
Lastly, if anyone has a slot in their schedule and would like to take something cool, Ms. Kleier is teaching a directing class next year that didn't get on the docket and needs at least 20 people to have it fly. If you are interested, comment and I'll give you the #.
