Another one bites the dust

Oh yeah, the horse! My favourite funny moment was probably Guy's "Yep" in response to Autol...Archer's comment about him being a noble with no money. I hesitate to use the c-word, but man was it cute. I know exactly why I liked it actually, it's like a "mortal Ares" moment: an unexpected burst of lightheartedness from a generally dark character. Archer got some zingers as well -- "That's an expensive sounding name!" -- and of course, the divine Prince "Long Live ME!" John.

True about insufficient time for reasonable character development -- Isabella especially ended up slightly schizophrenic. And it was a bit hilarious how Robin went from "he showed no remorse, I hate him, raaah" to "my friend" (mwahaha). On that, it gave me a sinfully delicious thrill to hear Robin say "He's one of us now!" -- hit my redemption-fetish bullseye. :D

It's also hugely amusing that AutolycusHood is a credible amalgalm of Guy and Robin. Bet slash writers love that (assuming there's the usual array of slashers in this fandom) -- Guy and Robin have a love child, or as good as. So anyway, if there is a S4, I guess it'll be like Robin Hood: The Next Generation. Not usually my cup of tea, but if the campy humour persists, I'll probably be there.
