Five Duels

The sport of men taking up arms to compete in most worthy combat does appease me so. And so many combatants housed within these numerous walls! Is the true name of this City Sparta? I do mock, such noble, ancient Sparta never had such enchantment in song. However, it was not known to me so many fighters stay near.

Protection is needed at all time! The turtle though slow and ambling like an aged gypsy caravan 'cross deserts of time is privy to the blasted heat and merciless wind is ever guarded by its shell. God's hands doth shape the scaled warrior's armor. Man is best suited for battle in arms of steel and better. My rapier alone is not enough. Bonds of brotherhood work well.

I thank thee, Caspian ever worthy of praise and to Gren for keeping watch over Juliet whom I love dear as a sister. These are what best hold man up against elements be it wind, sun, fire or water. Death itself I wager. So much meaning is gives the rapier its sting and reason to sing.

Alack, my thoughts do carry me so. Where resides the Lady Valentine? I bid her share a word. Silence is not becoming. And for that matter I do wonder why it is such words I speak maketh a man and lady alike give compliments.

[ooc; Aaaaaugh going to work shortly, tags when I get back.]
