Money is the blood of the devil. I hate it. I really want to go to camp today, everyday, forever. The treeeeees and the laaaaake and the diiiiiirt and the peeeeepz.

And the children! The children!

Anyway, money is evil.

Money is paper backing an invisible source of power. I like the thought of that power being used for good instead of evil, though. True that those who seek the most power, seek the most money. Then they keep it guarded a bank safe, like they were protecting their own heart, freshly carved from their chest. I also find money necessary for certain things. Food and travel and art and medicine, as you said. Still, all four of those things can be obtained without money. It's just harder to pick berries and hitchhike and to find an audience willing to imagine the costumes and set and lights and sounds of a show on their own and not everyone has access to a Chinese herb garden. In my youth, I am naive enough to hope never to work a job just for money, but to always do something that I want to do because I want it to be done! I want to wipe oil off of sea-life creatures for my day job. But they don't pay you to do that, they just pay you to take pictures and write about it. "they" I am stuck on this "they" word. I must find the identity of " ( ... )
