Spent a couple of days at my Mum and Dad's in Cheshire, which was lovely. Daf behaved pretty well, although he got a bit fretty and upset at times especially about sleeping. I think he just didn't want to miss anything - it was all too exciting for him. We did think he was teething as he kept chewing his fingers, but as he calmed down as soon as we got home, we decided it wasn't that. Jon's parents and sister and nephew came over to Cheshire on Saturday for the day - Helen and Thomas hadn't met Daf before and Jon's parents hadn't seen him for two months. So a great time was had by all and we've done our duty by our families for the next little while.
I've spent a fair bit of time decluttering the house over the past few weeks - now I need to sort out the garden. Hopefully the weather will be fine next weekend. It's funny to think that a year ago I had a week off work and was busy working in the garden, going out places, enjoying myself and then falling asleep every afternoon - thanks to a baby I knew nothing about at the time. And now he's here and four months old. In a week's time it will be both my birthday and one year since I found out about Daf - the year has gone by so fast. It's a strange feeling.
