Summary:
Orpheus doesn't think much about his life before he was a private detective. But when he's hired to search for a missing girl, he'll have to take on Hollywood royalty, hired killers, and maybe, finally, himself.
I was given a lovely prompt and free rein, and the idea for combining a couple of my favorite archetypes with one of my favorite genres came to me right away. So then it took me weeks to start writing. I was running around asking everyone in sight whether I should default, and then it all came together in a big rush. I couldn't have had a better time writing. And I couldn't have a bigger crush on Humphrey Bogart.
