"Hey, Optimus," Fig calls out. "I think we got something! That directional beacon of yours looks to work. Four bogies, coming from the black, looks like we got a target spot, sir!"
"Excellent work! Thank you!" And he's out the door, hell-bent for the yard. It's mere moments later that he's in his vehicle mode, hooked up to a special trailer built for things like this, and motoring towards the expected landing site.
"Autobots on base! Move out!" As he motors through the desert, he gets a message:
"Grimlock stay behind. Maybe Decepticon trick, Grimlock keep squishies safe."
"Understood, Grimlock, and thank you."
Soon. Soon.
Then the report: "Optimus, this is Figueroa. Two bogies, tagged S-1 and S-2, have veered off. The other two, one large and one small, are incoming directly."
If he could facepalm, he would. Of COURSE something distracted the twins...

She's close enough to someone that she heard it, and not intending on missing the greeting. "Demyx, are you coming as well?" That last to the ex-Nobody who is, as common, hanging out with her.
