Note for anyone ever travelling by Carnival Cruise Lines to Halifax:
1) It's rude to interrupt your tour guide when she's in the middle of a sentence. Chances are, she'll answer your absolutely important question in the next sentence out of her mouth, if you'll just give her a chance.
2) McNab's Island is not England.
3) We are not using the Euro as our currency. We are in North America, not Continental Europe.
3) Yelling at your tour guide will not make the bus move faster, nor will it make air conditioning magically appear.
4) If you pay to take the tour, please listen while the guide is talking rather than talking loudly on your cell phone to your family in Long Island for the entire hour and 15 minutes. Believe it or not, not everyone else on the bus wants to hear about your swollen hands.
5) Women have the vote in Canada.
6) If you pay in American dollars, you will receive Canadian dollars in change. If I were in your country, would you give me change in loonies? I didn't think so.
Sorry about the rant, but I just had the worst day ever at the harbour. Bollocks to tourism.
