Ok so yesterday I was sitting on my porch listening to music watchin the cars go by, a cop car goes by with his lights on, didn't think anything about it cuz we live on a pretty busy street. Then I heard anothr one, and yelling. Went around to the front yard, they are both in my neighbors drive. Then another one, and another one. So there were four cop cars at my neighbors house, they all ran in with guns yelling and crap. Apparently they chased him from somewhere, why he came home i dunno. But anyways, he drove in between our houses, and threw a "shiny object" into the pool. About 10 minutes later, one cop put a foot long knife in his trunk that they had fished out of his pool. Well they were there about an hour and finally they brought someone out in cuffs...which was his sister, and then they bought him out next. I had a tow truck parked in my drive that was waiting for the yea or nay from the cops to impound his explorer. The guys from the business on the other side of my house came over and said, yeah the cops are here about every saturday and they park in your drive and go around both sides of the house to sneak up on him. What a fun filled day! Haha, wanted to ask one of the cops what they did, but didn't wanna be that nosy, but i mean we do have a right to know if we are living next to a murderer. Greg said he'll call downtown tomorrow and see if he can find anything out.
Changing the subject
Greg and I got new phones, Nextel just really sucks and we needed to get rid of it. Can't even remember the last time I used the direct connect. and our bill will be MUCH cheaper now.
on a sad note, but also kinda funny. We went to see my inlaws over the weekend and greg had to help his dad out of the recliner and into the wheelchair so he could go to bed, and just standing up for about 2 seconds and turning around to sit in the wheelchair completely exhausted him and he was struggling to breath and then he panicks and starts to hyperventilate. Well it took him about 15 minutes to catch his breath back to normal. When we were saying goodnight to him, he was holding my hand and I was in there a few minutes with him alone and we were both kinda teary eyed and he said to me You're a real special person and then kinda paused and then said to be able to put up with Greg. He didn't really mean it as a joke, just the way he strung it together made it funny and we were both kinda laughin and cryin at the same time. He's so great and I really don't want to have to say goodbye yet, I've only had him in my life for a couple years, its just not fair for him to have to leave us already. He's on 3 morphine treatments a day right now and when they started his dad on morphine then it was only like a month before he died.
