My father in law has a rare pulmonary disease that he has been fighting for several years now. My inlaws went to st. louis last week for a check-up for his heart to see if he would be able to undergo the surgery to get a lung transplant. They put a stint in my his heart and had to put him in the hospital because his artery was partially clogged. If this stint stays put until he goes back for his 6 month check up, He'll get to stay on the list for a new lung. And it may only be a matter of weeks before he'll be able to get one. They'll have to live there for 3 months after the surgery, so they could possible miss xmas if it happens that soon. I'm so anxious for that time to come. In December we'll either get great news that he can stay on the list, or horrible news that he won't be able to have the surgery. Everyone keep your fingers crossed!
