I am going crazy! I've done so much studying the last few days I am ready to kill someone. So yeah, I'm screwing my homework until Sunday. So tomorrow Sirbrina and Adam are coming up to Van.City for Arts County Fair! Shayla and Laura were going to come, but I think they have too much school stuff going on. . .? I guess we'll see tomorrow? Arts County Fair is this huge concert where everyone gets drunk at 8:00 a.m. and then goes to the concert on campus. Basically, it's the last day of school, which is a great day for everyone to get shit-faced! If everyone isn't too drunk, or wakes up from being passed out, we're going to hit up the underground reggae club. I haven't been there in about a month, so I'm really excited to go! All of my guy friends from Hamber want to go, which means things are going to get pretty crazy. Who knows what's going to happen!!
Last day of class on Friday. . .which I'm obviously not going to. . .4 finals, and then I'm home. Well, I'm actually going to come home the night of the 24th to drop off my stuff and go to the Endless show, but I have to head back the next day to chill with my Canadians for a few more days. I'll be home for good on the 27th. Dang, I can't believe that the year is already over - it's gone by so quickly.
Katie and I are going to look at an apartment on Sunday. It's this really cute two-bedroom condo, right on Robson St. Pretty much all of the leases here run May - May, so we would have to pay for it over the summer. In a way it sucks, cuz I'm losing money, but on the other hand, we can all come up for the summer festivals in Van. and have a place to crash! Katie's cousin might stay there and pay rent for a few months, so that would help out on the money end of things. Cross your fingers for me, I have to talk my parents into this!
I've applied for a whole bunch of jobs downtown, because I want to spend most of my summer in Seattle. With Sirbrina moving into the house, I don't have any reason to be in Federal Way. If I can get a job downtown, I can probably convince my parents to let me stay with Sirbrina for most of the summer. I have one offer that looks pretty promising, but I'm not holding my breath at this point. Most places are pretty reluctant to hire someone who can only work for a few months. I know I could get a job in the food industry, but I want a bank or receptionist job. . .unfortunately, I have to start getting a little more serious about this shit! I'm going to have to start the hardcore job search as soon as I get back. That's all for now. . .I'm sure Bri and I will have some crazy stories after this weekend! :D
