Pimping ain't easy
Want an awesome, all-ages friendly, fun to read graphic novel? With #POC main characters? Check it out: The Deep: Here Be Dragons is out worldwide this week and well worth picking up. I sat in on the Gestalt Comics panel at Perth Supanova this year, and the thing that impressed me most was Tom Taylor's comment that heroes aren't all white men in spandex (whitey-tightys?), and that the publishing industry needs to recognise this and grow with it.
(Also, I totally stole his hat.)
