update
so my course is almost finished , I have one exam and fieldwork. no more lectures.c'est tout. I am graduating on the 19th July , I have to wear maroon :( I was wondering, is it usual to send out graduation announcements? or do only Americans do this? I was imagining some sort of postcard thing with a photo of me on.
I am sorting out work for the summer , will hopefully be selling food to people at festivals and continuing with the museum volunteering. As for fun stuff I shall be going to WOMAD for a day and meeting the lovely
hometownunicorn , having a weekend in Glastonbury at the start of June and going to the Goddess Conference.
Last night went to this gorgeous restaurant www.cafemaitreya.co.uk with uni veggie society. I had:
provencal artichoke and truffle potato gratinee
slow cooked hearts with lemongrass veloute, pine nuts and mixed leaf salad
and a chocolate cake thing which isn't on their website. It was very tasty and very good for vegans too , we had 7 with us and they could have lovely things like vegan icecream and chocolate brownies. so, good place to take your vegan buddies. i think meat-eaters would not notice either since it is all tasty. pretty place too.
