(no subject)
Today I had the feeling of finally beginning to settle within myself. and it feels quite like bare feet after at a long winter.
funny how sometimes it takes a truly depressing book/poem/movie for you to realize how beautiful things can be. I watched "Sylvia" the movie abut Sylvia Plath's life. interesting movie. wonderful poet. tragic life. and perhaps oddly enough, I found parts of the movie rather inspiring.
on a musical note (haha get that pun?... oh yeah i am a band geek) I have rediscovered Fiona Apple. man, she is amazing. I can't quite describe the feeling her music gives me. Her intense yet... soothing music, combined with her jaded, and raw attitude. it makes me feel independent, makes my chest feel like there is pressure on it, and it makes me restless for life experience. interesting thing... music.
