Things are going well, i suppose. The job is kind of daunting, in that a somewhat large contiguous mass of information is being relayed to me in a barrage-like way. The pay is good though, and It's not exactly hard, and everytime i hear about what the job is like (vs. training), its all aces. I'm starting to wonder if i need to take the second job, because i get emails every day asking if anyone is willing to take on extra hours and i, being the grifter that I am, would certainly take it for the 1.5 time... that would be....somehwere in the area of $17 an hour. Sign.me.up. If i get a PT at sbux i will be making like $3 less and working more hours and shifts may create difficult situations... and i will be very, very tired and not able to enjoy the living away from homeness that will soon be permeating my existence. I read a very humorous article, thanks to Maddy, in the Scientific Enquirer that was a Scientology backlash piece by The Onion called New Fictionology, about en masse worship of fictional characters - Santa claus, Gilmore Girls, you name it. If Scientology has actual religion status (which it DOES, sadly. Stupid Californians), then it would be in the same mould if we were to start a grassroots movement following the works of Guy Gavriel Kay. We could say that Finavir actually exists and take up weaving and offer them as sacrifice to really old, weird looking trees that are frequented by lone wolves. Hey, it could work, there's a precedent.
I'm at cat's house right now using her shmancy macbook (soooo pretty) but alas my time has come to an end
