Making
from
this in PS CS.
1. Crop your base down to 100x100, and duplicate it twice. The layer right above the base should be set to screen, and the layer above that should be set to soft light. It should look like:
2. Add a layer of #bbfeff on Color Burn, opacity 100%, a layer of #482a0a on Soft Light, opacity 100%, and
this gradient, on Hard Light at 55% opacity.
3. Turn off the visibility of the two color layers and the gradient layer, and stamp the image (CTRL + SHIFT + ALT + E). Move the stamp above the three color layers, and set it on Screen at 65% opacity.
You should have
4. Stamp the image again, desaturate this layer, and set it on Multiply at 40% opacity. It may look a little dark, but it will get lighter, I promise :).
5. Add
this light texture, and set it on Screen at 100% opacity.
Your icon should look something like this:
6. Copy your desaturated layer, and move it above that last layer, but change the Blend Mode to Screen and the opacity back up to 100%.
7. Add a layer of #482a0a, on Screen at 83% opacity, a layer of #03122a at 100% Exclusion, and a tiny text brush in white, and voila! You're done!
