Making
from this in PS.



First, crop the image down to 100x100, of whatever part of it that you want to be in the icon. I used

Duplicate it, and set it to soft light. It came out a little dark, so I lowered the opacity to 67%.

Next, and exclusion layer of #03182f and a layer of #ede4ce set to soft light. Both color layers should be set at 100% opacity.

These steps brought me to this:

Next, you should stamp the layer using CTRL+SHIFT+ALT+E.

After the color layers, I added the text. I used the font called Eight Track, available here, in #03182f, size 24, and set to Sharp.

Move the layer of text underneath the stamped layer, and set the stamped layer to 72% opacity to get this:

From here, I outlined the text using Stroke (select outside instead of center) in white, and put a white border around the whole icon using Stroke, also (use center, not outside).
