Last Airbender Teaser Trailer Revealed (First glimpse of Shyamalan's epic)
It's a year away yet, but we now have our first glimpse of M. Night Shyamalan's The Last Airbender.
Not too much to see yet, bar some nifty staff-wielding from newcomer Noah Ringer in a clifftop monastery, and a fleet of ships shooting fire. But it gives a good idea of the look and scale of the thing, which is certainly very different to anything else on Shyamalan's CV so far.
As you'll know by now, Airbender is based on a Nickelodeon animation that cleverly mashed up traditions from Anime and US cartoons. It ran for three seasons and sixty-odd episodes between 2005 and 2008, and follows the adventures of a group of element manipulators (earth, wind, water) against the evil Fire Lord.
