Thoughts - Colours
I had an interesting conversation with an art student about colours.
We were discussing about Chardin's works and he said that he could make a copy painting of that artist's still life with five colours. Namely, Burnt Seinna, Yellow Ochre, Ivory Black, Titanium White, and Burnt Umber. And some accents.
I've not used oils before, being more of a water colourist and someone who likes to layer to create effects so this was an eyeopener for me.
