Life is settling into a routine here. Get up at 6:30, shower, breakfast, meet at 7:45. Divide into groups, dirt dive (rehearsing a jump on the ground), board the plane, jump, pack, grab a granola bar and a bottle of water (essential in the desert), debrief, 5 minutes free, then dirt dive again. Repeat until dusk. There's barely enough time for the facilities, let alone luxuries like lunch. I fall into bed at 9:30 so I can be ready for the next day.
So is it fun? Of course it is! Yesterday we completed 2 of our 6 jumps, which when you consider we had 21 people who were being asked to jump out of their comfort range, is pretty good. I'd love to stay here for the 100 way attempts next week, but earning money takes precedence. Reality sucks sometimes.
