LOOK OUT HERE I COME!!!
I got TWO phone calls today about my applications for the "Assoicate Designer" and the "Direct Mailing Specialist" with Staples in Framingham, MA.
The first call was a call from my GM- on Wilmington Pk. telling me that Pat Kirklin (HR person) had talked to Bob Jackson (my DM) and he sent an email to Rick (my GM) telling him that Pat had contacted the "Home" office in Framingham, MA about my recent application requests to move up in the company. And it said that when I had applied on line at staples.com that it just made me a . in the system, not saying that I am already an "In House person" (aka: an employee). She said that she changed all of that information, and made contact with the Senior Recruiter at the "Home" office. That they should be in contact with me within the next couple of days.
She also said that those positions do not have the funding for the help of relocating. Where I would have to do it all on my own. (That's gonna suck)
But when I got home tonight I got a phone call from Josh- my associte friend at work- telling me that Jay called to speak with me from the "Home" office. But when I called him back I got his voice mail (oh shame)... YES I left him a voice mail (I hate talking to MACHINES!!!!). So he should be calling me back tomorrow. If not I will be calling him sometime during the day tomorrow.
I'm so excited.... YET I am very very very much more scared. If I get this job then I have to say "Good-Bye" to all of my family and friends. I'm going to go insane if I leave.
