okay my date last night then me breaking my kitchen sink....
okay- i met this guy in my personals box. and we talked for like a week then met last night. don't worry about me, the first time we talked we talked so long that our convesation killed his cell phone battery (he doesn't have a land line). so he asked me if he could call me later. i said yeah. when he did call me back we talked for another 2 hours. we've talked a lot on the phone. just monday when we were talking on the phone he asked me out to dinner tuesday night, but i couldn't go b/c i had to work. but last night (tuesday) we did go out for like a little desert at apple bee's. and we shared it. then um yeah, my OC kicked in with cleaning the table up and stacking all the plates (really it was one) then wipeing it down with a clean napkin. i told him about it b4 he ever asked me out on a date. so he just laughed at me. when we got back to my car i had my sketch journal in my car (the only thing i had with me). he wanted to see it, so i showed him. he asked me out again friday night, at apple bee's, and we confirmed it at my car that we were going out. but he also said that he would reall like to see all of my stuff that i've done. so friday we are going to go and see the polar express, as well as show him my art "stuff." i asked him about going ice skating with me and my friends (that where still in the parking lot, when we got back to my car). he said that it sounded like a good idea, but couldn't do it this saturday b/c he's going to the OSU and Michiagn game. and asked what i was doing sunday. i know i'm working so we'll have to plan it for another date. but we didn't stay out long b/c i had a lot to get done in my apartment (with cleaning it).

i was cleaning my two turkeys for tonights dinner, last night. when i was done, i noticed that my feet were getting wet? when i opened up the cabniet (under the sink) i noticed that there was water EVERY where!!! mixed in with the water was turkey gizzerds. and boy did it smell?!!!!! i call maintance at like 2 in the morning. but the guy was like i'll fix it later on around 9. i was like "won't it ruin the wood?" he told me to just soak up the water with towels (or paper ones) and he'll fix it.
but i'm so excited about my thanksgiving dinner tonight. all my friends from school who can go is coming!!!! at lunch, in about 30 min, my friend candis and i are going to my apt. to put the turkeys in the oven. this is a BIG learning experince for me. my first turkeys!!!
i'm going to say grace when everybody gets there to eat. i'm even more excited about that, nervous too. but God will give me the words to say.
But I am thankful for all of my family, and friends. Thankful for God's mercy and grace to be able to make friendships with my peers, and to be able to keep them through the future years to come. Thankful for the meal that not just myself, but my friends that are bringing food to the dinner, are prepareing. Thankful for the fellowship that we are going to have tonight, though I know some aren't believers, let this meal minister to their hearts so that they may want to know God and His grace and Love.
