Japan Trip Report pt. 2
OOOOOMG THIS IS SO LATE WTTTF AM I DOING IT NOW FOR? *shot down x1000000* I was like "...I have nothing to do..let's upload Japan pictures and finish that report thingie on LJ :/" SO UH, yeah... xD HERE :0
[ Day 6 - A Japanese school experience ]
This day was actually pretty busy, even after Tokyo and all that rush xD;
We went to a Elementary school where they showed us what they did in classes, etc. THEY WERE JUST SO CUTE >3< I wanted so bad just to like...take a cute kid and just huggle them =w=~~
They gave us different things, like little balls you can blow up and play with. And I learned some caligraphy SEE LOOK HOW CUTE THEY ARE >///<
It was also cool because they danced to "Moskau Moskau" and it was aweeesome =3= I was softly singing along and laughing, they were like "SHE LIKES THIS TOO MUCH :DDD" haha *nerd*
Where we had lunch (it was good xD)
After that we walked about to the HIEA (?) where they set up activities for people from my town. I got all dressed up in a yukata and went to a tea ceremony. I didn't get any photos, BUT OMG I really really REALLY don't like the green tea they served >3< It was soo bitter and ugh, I drank it all anyway, to be polite, but geeeeeeeez nasty >_<;;;
We then got onto a bus and headed over to OSC Shonan City Olympic Mall (I think that's right xDD'). I got to see Kasumi and Asami there, and Asami even taught me some Japanese while I was there and I taught her some English x33
While I was there I bought a One Piece soundtrack, some really cute pens, and some gifts for my sisters. Aaand went to an arcade and played some games x33
That pretty much took up all of that day, and good gawd I was really tired of walking by the end of that day =w=
[Day 7 - High school and a Barbeque ]
Today was pretty ... not busy xD;;; I dunno, this was probably my least favorite day for some reason :/ By now I finally knew all the names of my roomies..which is kind of stupid because this was the 7th day and all xD; BUT I knew them :0
We went to a High School, but we really didn't do anything there =_= I really wanted to experience a Japanese class, but we just sat around talking about a Star festival, and I made a wish. It was to come back to Japan. It was neat because there was this British english teacher there, and he said his wish was "Happiness and Health for his daughter" DDDD: That's...just too cute and I wanted to talk to that guy more, he was cool :/ arg
Didn't get any pictures of the High school cause it was boring, YAY :D
Barbeque was okay, VERY good chicken and stuff x33 Scenery
I was glad because I got to see Kasumi and Asami yet again xD
As it got darker everyone (and I mean EVERYONE) got a whole lot of sparklers and we went around lighting those. That was really cool =w= And the people performed for us, and that was sooo funny xDD;; And at the end we all did the cha-cha slide and hauled ourselves back on the bus and back to the hotel to sleep x3
OOOMG, it was so funny before bed though. Roommate Paige had bought a girl-magazine at a 7-11 that day, and I was flipping through it, only to find 2 guys kissing/romantic poses/etc and I was like "OMG Paige?! You got a magazine with shonen-ai in it?!" and I had to explain what that was and she was all "DDDDDB NO WAI" ...it freaked her out because she's Christian and everything, but I just laughed "Oooomg this is so awesome. WHERE DID YOU BUY THIS?!" I wanted a copy :/ Those magazine pages are really colorful D:
[Day 8 - Zoo, Odawara Castle, and a Volcano ]
I remember this morning we had to get up pretty early and move out fast Dx That...sucked :/
First thing we did was head over to Odawara Castle. OMG IT WAS SOO PRETTY =3=;;; And big, I thought it was going to be smaller, but as you head up all those stairs/etc you realize just how BIG that castle is :0

I got a lot of photos of the outside, but we weren't allowed to have cameras in the castle. But there was a lot of old Japanese things, stuff from the Samurai age, etc. That was neat, xD I seemed to be the only one who wanted to stop and look at stuff besides swords/etc. :/ It was cooool!
There was also a zoo near the castle x33 Mooonkies =3= They were SO CUTE >3<
Aaand an elephant xD I loved it because everytime I would try and take a picture, it was turn around so it's butt was facing me, so I ran to the other side and snapped this photo, and right after it turned :00 SO HA, I GOT YOU ON FILM xDD;;
After that we hiked around a foot spa, and walked around in water with rocks/etc in it. THAT was awesome and my feet felt so good after that =w= especially after all that walking :0 I hung around the chaperones most of that time, I think they're cool xD; And the water was like...really hot but there were streams of cold etc you could walk in after. It was nice x3
After that we went to a REALLY fancy restaurant and ate x333 The food there was...really good but a little TOO fancy for me xD;;
The view was so beautiful though oh my goodness =w=

When I looked outside again, I saw THIS :000 I asked about it, and we were going to ride one of those babies (there were like...5-6 of them I think) over to the VOLCANO. I was like "OMGGGG *spazz and die*"
Gaawd it was soo nice outside too, there was a cool wind, blue skies, green grass, and the sun shining bright OOOOMG sooo pretty =w=
We had to walk to where we were going to get on that big Pirate looking ship thing (omg my english is great xDDD;;) but I found the coolest sign I had seen in Japan yet
"DO NOT TOUCH DOUBTFUL THINGS" :000 I was laughing so hard at that :/

Oooomg around us it was just...I can't describe it. THE WIND, THE WAVES, it was awesome x333
Really loved that we got a ship with a Lion on the front xD "RAAAWR D< WE BE FIERCE PIRATES"
ACTIVE VOLCANO TIME :000!
Awesome place, sure it smelled bad because of the sulfur, but it was cool xD; I ate some black eggs...which were good, but they tasted just like regular eggs xD; JUST BLACK :0
Theen a long ride to the hotel, but it was good because I had my iPod and I daydreamed most of the time xD;
[ Day 9 - Last official day in Hiratsuka - Kamakura/Aquarium ]
The last day because day 10 was just going home on the plane :00
First place we went was Kamakura to do some shopping. I got to try some Green tea/Sweet potato ice cream OMG can you buy that stuff in the US?! THAT STUFF WAS JUST...OMG it was sooo good =w= I want my family to try some :00!
Arrrg right when we're about to leave, someone tells me there's a Ghibli store JUST across the way AND I MISSED IT ;___; I wanted to go sooo bad Dx aarg
There was another shrine here, but nothing like the one in Tokyo. It was still nice though xD

THE AQUARIUM WAS AMAZING :000! I've never been to one before, and this one was awesome x333
Got to see sharks, penquins (OMG SO CUTE), seals, and a dolphin show x33 I bought a ticket for 500 yen to pet a dolphin, that was cool x33 BUT it was confusing because the show guy was talking really fast in Japanese and giving instructions and Mickey (chaperone) and I were like "..O_o Okaaaaay" but we did okay xDD I loove dolphins =w=
We went to the beach, which was right next to the aquarium and played in the ocean x333 So neat :3 Went to shower aaand then the farewell party.
The farewell party was awesome, but I didn't get any photos because it was so busy xD I wore my yukata and we played all these games and I got lot of gifts and stuff ;3; It was sooo sad though. By the end I was almost in tears because Misae (youngest daughter in the family) started to cry went we got back at the hotel, and that got me going T_T She is just too cute x'333
Aauugh I've never been that sad to leave a place ;_; just...I owe that family so much >3<; I really need to write them a long thank you letter :/ or email or something x3
[ Day 10 - Home ]
Auuugh plane ride home was okay, way easier this time for some reason. Didn't get stopped, didn't get in trouble. Watched more House on the ride home xD; HE GOT ME THROUGH MAN, the whole ride x3 I actually slept this time too, before I was too excited. xD;
When I got back to Kansas City, my mom was there and so was my sister, they were like "OMG TELL US EVERYTHING :DDD" and me "...=_= tired must sleep" the car ride home was amusing. My sister gave the wrong directions and so I went to sleep for around 2 hours and when I woke up we were just coming into town xDDDD;;; I was all "OMG YOU SUCK DDDx we were lost for 2 HOURS?! DDD:" haha my mom was just laughing x3
SLEPT FOR 13 HOURS STRAIGHT WHEN I GOT HOME. I WAS TIRED. But, it was something I'll never forget. AND I ALREADY WANNA GO BACK ;3;
