Let Me In (also Let the Right One In - John Ajvide Lindqvist, A scandinavian vampire novel. Awesome. I've read a lot of vampire novels, and this one is extremely adept at it's story telling and the way it makes you care about the characters. All of them.
How the Dead Dream - Lydia Millet, Got this from the New York Times list of great books, or some list of great books for 2008. It's held my attention, but it's not what I'd usually read. It's about a real estate developer in the 80s-90s, and some tribulations he has.
Non-Fiction
An Introduction to New Testament Christology - Raymond E. Brown, Dry, but informative. Very scholarly.
