Impressive....
I'm thoroughly impressed with myself, if I do say so myself. My project is coming to completion, which consisted of putting a media/backup server in my closet running Windows Server 2003, with 2 tb of storage.
To complete this, I had to put an electrical socket in my closet (turns out it's against the Ontario Building Code, oops), run Cat5e wiring from my closet to each bedroom and to the living room. For future proofing, I added 2 cat5e runs sockets in the living room. Because I needed a telephone jack in my closet, I decided to rewire all of the telephone cable, as before I had add on telephone jacks along the baseboards instead of proper wall sockets, and the wire was spliced and added on to way too much. So for each rj45 jack in the rooms, added on a telephone cable.
After a lot of bitch work, runnnig wires through walls, drilling, acting straight, everything is hooked up and it WORKS the first time!!!
