Stephen Harper
Wow, multiple updates in less than 2 months. This one is cool though.
So Manon, Bret and I are waiting for our 7:25 movie to start tonight when in walk this train of approximately 10 men. Manon leans over and whispers "oh my god that's Stephen Harper" and I was like "nah".
Well, it was. His "secret service" type guys (had the speak in the ear, mic on the shirt, the whole nine yards) dispersed throughout the theater and Harper sat in the front of the first section, 4 rows in front of us. Pretty cool stuff.
Then while we were waiting to leave Manon had to pee for the 10th time that night - as she's coming out, STephen Harper and his Macho Clan came waltzing buy. We followed them outside, where they got into their surburbans. We hopped in our car, and we ended up following them down Aviation Parkway. I wanted to lean over and start making out with Bret in front of Harper, but that didn't pan out.
So yah, it's not everyday the leader of the country pops into the same theater as you, and then let's you stalk him a bit on his merry way home.
One question though.... where was his WIFE?!?!?!? He was with 2 other guys. Wait, that kind of explains that....
