Today I decided to empower myself and get a piercing. Thom and Jess came with me, and Thom wound up getting pierced as well, although his went a little more smoothly than mine. For unknown reasons, my eyebrow squirted blood everywhere...it was all down the side of my face and in my ear. The bottom hole started to heal while he was cleaning up, so it didn't feel very nice when he shoved the bar in. But overall, it was pretty painless.
So I had to have a needle shoved in my face to rejuvenate a little self-confidence...that's not so bad.
