Need some advice again!

Hiya!

Okay, got this response to one of my stories in the comments box:

Everything you post is titled 'Fic update'. Every single post. Every story ever has the same title. If we look through the archive, how are we supposed to know which 'Fic update' is which story? How can we find anything?
Could you please put the story title in the title line. Please.

Now, it's an anonymous post, so I can't get back to the person regarding the story indices on the left hand side of the lj page. However, the tone of the comment does seem to be that of a person reaching for a blunt object as they type so I was wondering if this is a problem for more than one person? I tend to put 'Fic update' in the title bar so anyone scanning can tell that I've posted fic rather than a ramble or question or review. (It sort of boggles the mind at the thought of someone trawling through every single archive posting looking for something!) When I post to a community I usually put the title of the story in the subject bar.

Is this a problem? I can easily start putting the title of the story in the subject bar but it honestly didn't occur to me that this was a issue.

EDIT: Thank you to all the people who took the time to give me some feedback. I really appreciate that. Lots of good advice and I've decided to go with 'Fic: title of the story' as that seems to be a nice compromise. Thank you again for the input. It's odd and kind of fun that I'm still learning after all this time and I can ask for advice and get it so swiftly and well!
