Yep, being likened to Ianto is high praise. And stubborn is just a challenge. And pretending that episodes didn't happen always works - like you, I have to ignore End of Days because even I can't save that one!

Oh no! Not the puppy eyes of doom! Hmm, all of a sudden I know what I'll be doing over the weekend!

It's working. Slowly, but surely. It'll all make sense in my head soon and I'll be able to re-align my canon with the actual one. This helped and the insight into Jack's head was very well done. Thanks for sharing!

No problem. I'm very happy with this version and will continue to run with it until I reach some kind of brick wall. (And then I shall do my level best to kick the wall down!)

Works for me. Although, like yourself, I never had any problem with it to begin with, you just put it all so much more eloquently than I ever will!!
(Although on the crazy theories front my flatmate has decided Jack was all weepy and odd coz he's pregnant... *shrugs*)
