Survey results
Many, many thanks to all of you for taking the time to help me out with this. I loved seeing the way certain trends started to develop and how some stories were more popular than others.
I initially just counted out the ones who were asked for first. There were four stories who came out ahead using that method. They were:
CHALICE
THE LIGHTHOUSE
TIMELESS and
ROMANCE
Several people commented, however, that they were giving me their choices in no particular order. That made me think that a straight-past-the-post result might not be accurate, so I went back and counted up the total votes that each story got, up to 4th place. That gave me this result:
CHALICE
TIMELESS
THE SEAGULL and
THE LIGHTHOUSE
Using either method, Chalice, Timeless and The Lighthouse came out in the top four, with Romance and The Seagull respectable runners-up.
Chalice still needs some research before I start to write it, so I've decided to go with The Lighthouse and Timeless.
I hope that's a result you like but I will eventually get around to writing all of the stories. (And will probably get seized by inspiration and start writing one completely out of sequence, drat it!)
