Work is Well.... Sorta
Hmm, the last few days of work have been okay. Yay for that. I had two days on for my first two days of work and then I had three days off. XD That was nice... never mind that I didn't need the break yet. On my day back to work, Thursday, there were two new people... one was quiet and only spoke when spoken too. That way okay I guess, but there were times that it was hard to hear her because she was so quiet. Ah well. The second guy was a loud... VERY loud. >.> He said the most pointless things, listened to music loud enough that we could hear it and didn't do anything right. Now, normally when you're new to working at a place, of course you're going to make mistakes, however, all he was asked to do was face the section he was put into and place all the new stuff in the back of his shelves. Even a beginner can get it. You pull the stuff forward - or completely out if you're restocking - and then move on to the next, also making sure everything is where it should be. Simple right? The new guy couldn't even get that. He placed new items in front and didn't fix anything that may have fallen over.... oi. This could have been worked upon, no problem. I think he was told he couldn't work there anymore though because he hadmade another mistake the day before. He went into the accountance office and went on her computer and logged on to msn.... The Account Computer~!!!! And then he went in the back and took a bloody NAP~! -_-;;;; Let's just say he didn't last there long.
Ah well. On Friday, I spent my time bent double putting up stickers for Sale items. Matching numbers to numbers get's easy after a while... but it's the whole leaning over trying to find where they go before the flow sets in that's the killer. And finally, Last night I spent my time Facing the whole store and restocking the Shampoo as that's what Carol told me to do. =P That also killed my back. most of the re-shelving had to do with the middle sections. o_O that store is out to get me. XD At least I managed to make the Cashiers night amusing. She kept on chuckling at me as I hobbled by her to get water. ^_^ I even made her Laugh out loud when I was finally done. I walked by, threw up my arms and said. "I can SLEEP~!"
Oh, speaking of last night.... There were only 4 people in. The Cashier, the Pharmesist and two Merchandisers ((Myself and my supervisor Carol)). The two other Merchandisers that were set for that day didn't come in. ~_~ That wasn't cool and of course everyone who needed help came in that day. It's hard trying to find something when you're still trying to get used to the whole store. feh. Tonight there had better be more people. I am NOT unloading a truck with just Carol and I thank you very much. That poor woman shouldn't have to do that much work and as I'm still new I don't know where everything goes yet. ^_^; Mind, I'd stay well past my time just to make sure we get it finished.
Anywho. time for food. ^_^
