((This Dream is a bit different from the other three, mainly because it's part of a story that I'm working on. This however wasn't written up yet and I had only just dreamed of it last night. XD Buuut yeah. In the Story it's me and three other friends. Sunder, Danielle and Derek... I myself don't go by my original name like Sunder, I got by Tana. and The Story itseslf is called Journey to the Alternate Realms. ^_^))
>>Tana sighed as she poked up their fire into life once more. She was tired and she hurt all over, though she tried to make herself forget about it. Her injuries were nothing when really looked at. She had no real serious wound to speak of and everything else was just bruised. Right now all her concern was for Sunder who lay on his bedroll passed out. During the fight he had gotten cut. Though none of them had seen it happen. Sunder had done well at hiding it too… until she and Sunder had found shelter in this cave. Unfortunately they had been parted from Danielle and Derek.
Just when they were about to go out and look for them, Sunder dropped to his knee, it was then Tana saw red seeping through the left side of his top. Tana was quick in running to his side, concern clear on her face. Sunder smiled weakly at Tana before suddenly dropping to the ground out cold. Gasping, Tana took Sunder back into the cave and dug around in her pack for her first aid kit and the lamp. Once she found it, she lit it and carefully removed his top so she could look at his injury. It was bad but thankfully didn’t need stitches. Using the water in her canteen, she cleaned the wound and wrapped it up as well as she could, she then went to his own pack and got his bedroll for him to sleep in. It took a moment’s work to spread out the blankets and get him in it but once she did she went to his top and looked at it. There was no saving it. Now that she was looking at it, she didn’t know how she could have missed that. Shaking her head, Tana rolled it up and placed if off to the side. Once she was done with all that she went out and gathered some wood to help start a fire while waiting.
It was one hour later that she still found herself sitting by the fire watching Sunder in his sleep. Outside rain has started to fall and Danielle and Derek had yet to show up. Tana just hoped they were in a nice shelter from the rain and any monsters that may be hunting them. “How long?” Sunder’s voice suddenly croaked out, making Tana jump.
“Sunder, are you okay?” She asked, moving over to sit down next to him. “Why didn’t you say anything about your wound? You had me worried to death.” She said softly, pushing his hair from his face.
“I’m sorry Tana, I didn’t mean to cause you any worry.” He said. “I was more concerned that yo- we got out of there first.” Tana didn’t respond right away, instead she took his hand into her own. “Where are Derek and Danielle?”
Tana shook her head softly. “I don’t know. Rain started to fall a short while ago. It wouldn’t be wise to be out in it. We don’t know anything about this place and they could get lost. I just hope that they found shelter.” She replied softly, brushing her fingers along the back of his hand, unaware that she was even doing it. “The rain doesn’t look like it’s going to let up anytime soon either. You should get some more rest in while you can.”
It was clear he still needed rest. He was fighting to stay away and it was best he got back as much energy as he could while they had the chance. “Rest Sunder. I’ll wake you when we need to go.”
“And what of you?”
Tana smiles and kissed his cheek. “I’ll be fine, I promise.” Any protests he had, died on his lips. He looked up at her, his eyes falling shut on him though he tried to fight it. “Goodnight Sunder.”
--
Tana didn’t know how much longer she could stay up. The rain was still falling hard, Sunder was still sleeping deeply and Derek and Danielle were still out there somewhere. At last Tana went to her own pack, got her bedroll and laid it out next to Sunder.
Getting under the covers and laying on her side, she watched Sunder as she slept, her thoughts wondering as she let herself relax into sleep. She didn’t know when or how it happened, but happened it did. Tana was in love with Sunder. There was a lot to love about him though. He was kind and caring, he worried more about others before himself and went out of his way to keep his friends and loved ones happy. He normally didn’t care on what others thought of him of his personality. It was all of this and more that she loved about him.
“Tana, are you okay?” Sunder suddenly asked, making her jump. Slowly he turned his head so he could look at her. He was still tired but at least now he looked better than he had.
“Of course. Are you feeling any better?” She asked, sitting up and shuffling over to him once more, again taking his hand on her own.
He gave a single nod of his head. “I am, thank you.”
“No need to tank me.” Tana murmured, shrugging her shoulders. “You would have done the same for me I’m sure.” Again Sunder nodded his head but he didn’t say anything. The two of them sat in silence for a moment before Tana got up to stir up their fire once more.
“Tana?” Sunder sat up slowly and turned to look at her. Her back was facing him. “Tana, I need to tell you something.”
“You know you had me scared.” She whispered.
Carefully he got to his feet, cradling his side as he moved to kneel behind her. His arms wound around her waist as he pulled her to lean against him. “I’m sorry. The last thing I ever wanted to do was scare you.” He whispered. “You mean everything to me Tana.”
Blinking in confusion, Tana looked over her shoulder at him. “What?”
“I’ve had feeling for you for a while… I didn’t plan on telling you though, I didn’t want to ruin the friendship we have… But when the Cobra Kind went to attack you…” he trailed off and it dawned on her. So that was how he got that wound, at least she had only bruises. “I love you Tana.” He whispered next to her ear, his hold on her tightening, almost as if he were afraid she was going to leave him. ((Aww, It’s so sappy~!))
Tana turned partially into Sunder’s hold so she could look at him. He seemed sad about telling her this, perhaps he believed that she would deny him and their friendship would be gone. “It’s okay.” She replied, smiling at him. “I love you too Sunder. I’d be a fool not too…” She couldn’t resist placing her hand on the side of his face and almost as if being pulled by an unseen force, she leaned forward and kissed him softly on the lips. Sunder in turn returned the kiss and his arms went more securely around her.
“Derek~!!! I Found them~!”
Sunder and Tana broke apart with a gasp, though his arms did not leave her, and they looked at the entrance of their cave to see a very wet Danielle that was soon joined by a just as wet Derek…
