(no subject)
So it's been a while since I've posted a REAL post and not something like Anti-valentines day propaganda. (If you haven't noticed by now, I hate it. Have hated it since 3rd grade. Long story)
So here is the latest. I'm still in Utah, in fact, I signed a Spring/summer lease for my apartment. I have no idea when i'm coming home this summer. My guess is around the end of May or beginning of June. Maybe even then end of June. I will for sure be home for July for the HIll Cumorah Pageant. My responsibilities there have increased a lot since last year. My lease will go until september, so i may come back as soon as that's over, or i will stay in NY. Either way, I need to be renting the place so i can get Utah residency. I don't want to give up my NY license plates, but it's a good financial move. i'll save about 4 thousands dollars every semester.
Next week our Air Force detachment is making a trip to Edwards Air Force Base and Nellis Air Force Base. It's going to be a lot of fun. We were able to get special clearance to go see the "F-22 compound" on the base. Our drill team is going to perform at a competition. They are the guys who twirl guns around. If you have ever seen the opening scene from"A Few Good Men" then you know what i'm talking about. Our entire detachment is being put up in the Crowne Plaza hotel right on Redondo Beach, all courtesy of the US Air Force.
Later on in the month, I'm going on a KC-10 flight with a bunch of other cadets. the KC-10 is a huge aircraft used for mid air refueling. I'm way excited for this trip too. Not every day you get to travel on one of those.
School is going well. It's a lot of work though. I'm wondering if i will be able to get everything done before the semester is over.
