(no subject)
So summer is almost over already. How did that happen?
Things I've been up to:
- Got a haircut. Still not quite sure how I feel about it. The last time my hair was this short, I was in elementary school. I'm still amazed at how short it takes to dry.
- Visited my best friend in Hamburg and had a great time. I miss him. We talk on the phone every week but I won't see him until december when he'll come to visit, and damn sometimes I just want a hug. Why hasn't teleportation been invented yet?
- Been to CSD in Hamburg. I'm not that good with crowds, so I was wary at first, but I loved it. People were relaxed and considerate and it was tons of fun. And I can't even tell you what it meant to me, seeing all these people celebrating themselves, dancing, kissing. I live in a conservative area, so that's not something I usually get.
- Maybe it's because I've seen the movies close together, but the pairing has kind of nested in my head: Catwoman/Trinity. Obviously they would be really hot together, but I think they work on other levels too. Makes me wish I could write fic.
- Going on vacation to Croatia on Friday, yay! I'm planning to soak up as much sun as possible, swim a lot in the sea, read and hopefully see a dolphin.
