Poetry Jam 2020
In my last post I talked about wanting to read and write more poetry next year and took me up on that. :)
We're going to read the same book of poetry each month and then comment on it. Anyone wanting to join us is welcome!
January is Wendy Cope's If I Don't Know.
February is Elizabeth Bishop's Geography III.
The other months haven't been decided yet.
As for writing, I'm not sure yet what I'll do. Maybe use prompts or use a poem as a jumping off point.
And I hope engaging with poetry and talking about reading and writing it will help keep me inspired.
If any of this sounds appealing, please join in in any way you feel comfortable with! This is a low pressure thing, so it's perfectly fine to just pick one month or thing or comment whenever you have time.
