Title: Splash (3/?)
Rating: PG-13
Characters/Pairings: Jack/Ianto, Gwen/Rhys (mentioned and in flashbacks), Toshiko/Owen (suggested)
Spoilers: Um.... all up to just after "Something Borrowed", I guess. Not too sure, but Owen's dead and Gwen's married. (Please excuse any continuity errors such as I have Owen harping after coffee, but he's dead... please just forgive me for sloppiness as this isn't planned out!)
Disclaimer: Yeah, I'm RTD in disguise.
...
Please don't tell me you fell for that.

Chapter One
Chapter Two
Jack winked at Ianto as the tea-boy entered the boardroom, coffee tray in hand. Owen was standing up, hand on hips, shouting at full volume at Jack.

“What do you -bleep-ing mean, ‘We’re going on a trip the Channel Islands’? I don’t want to go to the -bleep-ing Channel Islands!”

Ianto decided now wasn’t the time for a smart reply. Nor was it the time to inform the irate medic that he had no coffee because Ianto hadn’t been able to find the cup.

“There is no -bleep-y way in hell that I am going to go with you, Jack -bleep-ing Harkness, for a whole -bleep-ing week on a

-bleep-ing boat on a -bleep-ing island!” Owen finished his swear-word littered rant and sat down. Only then did he realise that he had no coffee.

“Where’s my -bleep-y coffee?” He glared at Ianto. “Aren’t you meant to be the -bleep-y tea-boy?”

Ianto was struggling to keep his face carefully impassive. He managed a sort of contorted grimace.

“I...er...couldn’t find your cup...”

“It’s in the -bleep-ing microwave, where else do you think it might be?” Owen snapped, wiping his fingers down his white coat.

Ianto nodded. “Of course sir, that is - of course - the most logical place for it to be. I’ll go and get it sorted immediately, sir.”

Owen stared, open-mouthed, at his retreating back. “Did he - did he just call me sir?” he spluttered.

Jack nodded, barely hiding a smile. “He must be very sorry.”

“Sorry my-”

Owen was interrupted by Gwen rushing in wild-eyed.

“Jack - the microwave’s exploded!”
