Laundry

There's a laundry commercial about a new product.  It's this dryer sheet looking thing you use for your wash and dry. The women in the commercial says that the thing makes her life ' a thousand times better'.  She can't believe no one thought of it sooner. It's basically amazing. No more measuring! Finally, a break from measuring laundry detergent! It was such hard work!

I'm surprised they haven't invented a pill for the washing machine.

This is a perfect example why I think a huge chunk of this culture is really lame.  This commercial is trying to convince you to buy something you don't need. It's also idolizing lazy efficiency.  Wasting time doing laundry is a bad thing. You must hurry up and. . . work more? Plus, it's a woman. All laundry commercials feature woman. Or have you seen the neosporin spray commercial? Three mothers sitting on a bench, ready with neosporin when their kid falls. You don't even need that stuff. Try teatree oil. And I'm sure dad can do just fine helping you out with it.
