[ Ariadne will be absolutely everywhere tonight, mingling, dancing, harassing certain members of the security staff, and so on. She's even dressed up, a far cry from her usual boots and neckerchiefs. Have at her. ]

[greding]

[It's not long before George finds her and gives her a quick tap on the shoulder. He looks dapper as hell this evening, too. He also has a sprig of mistletoe in his hand, which he hold over her head. Hey, the curse may not be on, but it's still tradition.]

[ Oh hello. Turning, Ariadne lets herself give him a quick once-over before leaning up to kiss him -- it is tradition, after all. ]

Where'd you find that?

[greding]

I brought it myself. I reckoned it'd come in handy.

[He grins before kissing her back.]

You look gorgeous.

I'm not convinced you need it.

[ There's a slight laugh, as well as a duck of her head. ]

If nothing else, the shoes give me a bit more in the way of height.

[greding]

As long as you can still dance in them.

[pause]

We are dancing, by the way.

If I can't, I'll just take them off.

[ And a laugh. ]

You know, I think I'm supposed to be the one who demands that.

[greding]

Really? Alright, go on then.

[Leaning casually against the nearest piece of furniture, GO.]

[ There's a pause and a slightly incredulous look, but then Ariadne shakes her head, smiling to herself.

Granted, the last time she had to do something like this, she was in high school. That's probably why she just parrots him. ]

We're dancing, by the way.

[greding]

Is the bit where I'm supposed to say I don't want to? Because I don't think I'm that good of an actor.

[He takes her hand in his as he leads them to the dance floor.]

Maybe, but I like this better.

[ She follows, lightly squeezing his hand. ]

[greding]

[The more classic style of music is currently playing, so George leads her out onto the dancefloor and puts one hand on her waist. He starts gliding them gently around the dancefloor. The extra few inches really do help when he wants to hold her like this.]

[ It's a good thing she knows he's absolutely hopeless when it comes to non-wizard things, or else she might be a bit jealous that he's good at this on top of everything else. Instead, she's just pleasantly surprised. ]

We had balls now and again when I was as school. And I have a good memory.

[Cue giving her a spin.]
