Geo wasn't entirely sure what he was doing here. he'd only met the wind knight once for any great duration and that had been in battle before he'd arrived in the City. While he had stayed at the beach house for a brief period of time, the two hadn't crossed paths. Still, it was an important day and Eagle had suggested attending. In honor of the birthday girl, he'd prepared an assortment of sweets, tucked them neatly into a box and wrapped them up with a large bow on the top.

There was one detail that had been overlooked. Instead of arriving in his finest, he opted for a more casual fair. He arrived dressed in his usual uniform. Stepping into the posh setting he couldn't help but feel a little self conscious and out of place.

"Am I .. the only one... that dressed like this?," He thought to himself before quietly adding, "They really went all out, didn't they?".

Meanwhile here is your Commander sporting Earth style… looking at Geo like he has a monster sitting on his head.
Eagle crosses the distance between them to smile up at his Sub Commander, “Missed the part about this being a formal Earth occasion did you?”

The look is noted, and it does not help Geo feel any the less awkward than he already does. A slight laugh, "So it would seem". He took a moment to admire Eagle's attire. "You look... different". He didn't mean that in a bad way, no matter how it may have sounded.

“Really?” Smiling at Geo for noticing and hey, daring to say anything about it. That was new? “I didn’t think there was much difference between this style of dress and a formal military uniform from Autozam… except I didn’t have to have you do up the collar. There are a lot fewer buttons.”

Feeling a little under dressed?
“I suppose it doesn’t really matter that you missed the formal part… there isn’t anyone in the room who could forcibility eject you.”

Meaning Geo being one of the biggest people here would probably be able to take anyone who tried… and your Commander wouldn’t really stand for it anyway.

Tilting his head to one side he started to agree, "It is sort of like--". Geo trailed off when Eagle came to the part about the collar. He swiftly looked to either side to see if anyone was nearby that could have overheard that, not that it was anything terribly taboo. Then recollecting himself he smirked and added, ".. Is that a good thing or a drawback?".

Geo laughed at that statement. How true it was. Not even all three magic knights would be able to move him if they tried.

"So where's the birthday girl?".

Satisfied with the unique expression he was able to win, Eagle found himself near totally unprepared for the rebuttal. That was new too. Usually when he would say something like that Geo would either stand there all false grim faced or smile ever so slightly… actually coming back with some kind of teasing remark in return??
He must be feeling better after their little talk. Good. Eagle didn’t want him to be sad.

But, Eagle decides not to answer a question like that… so all that Geo gets in return is a ‘do you really want me to answer a question like that’ coy smile.

Looking back at the crowd, “The last time I saw Fuu she was over there near the present table.”

And a glance back at the present you have there, “Am I allowed to know what that is?”
Careful, some one’s candy radar might be going off. Not that he would steal from Fuu… if he thought he would get caught at it!

Definitely, Geo was feeling much better now. It was still awkward sharing an apartment with the extra exceedingly-quiet person but it actually hadn't been so bad. The coy smile is appreciated and returned with a version of his own.

"The present table is a good place4 to start," Geo nodded, seeing as he at least needed to place his gift over with the others, in order to be sure that she received it.

Then looking sternly down at Eagle, and lifting the gift well out of reach. "No, or it wouldn't be a surprise otherwise". Sub commander doesn't trust you. No free samples of someone else's gift.

That is probably wise… not trusting Eagle with a present like that.

“Then I will try to resist the temptation…“ This said with a slight playful edge, but surely meaning he would try to avoid eating the present you went through all of the time and trouble to make.
Besides, he wouldn’t want Fuu to really be out a present. That wouldn’t be very polite at all.

When Geo goes over to the present table to deliver that package, Eagle will follow… but the present is safe enough. Don’t worry!

“Maybe we should find you someone to dance with…?”
