It had been quite a while since the girls had all three gone out on an outing together. Personally, Hikaru was really looking forward to it, and what made it even better was that she'd never been to this crepe shop before! Following along behind the other two, she sporadically peered around them keeping an eye out for which shop the other girls would approach ( ... )

It had definitely been a long time, but Fuu wasn't at all perturbed by it, because at the back of her mind she knew that they would go out together once more. Sisters by undeniable friendship and not by blood, she knew that the time was just knocking around the corner. The crepes shop was not that foreign for the Wind Knight. Once, when she was familiarizing the whole City, she had come to this place in passing. It wasn't much of a surprise, then, that Umi picked the location.

Not that Fuu was particularly shocked by anything, really.

Upon entering, she placed a comforting hand on Hikaru's shoulder. "Shall I order for you then, Hikaru-san?" She asked with a smile, just like the usual one she gave her the first time they met. Turning to Umi, she sat down beside the Water Knight.

"Well, we can start by ordering something? It's always nice to converse while nourishing one's stomach," Fuu pointed out.

"Right. I couldn't agree more!" Her friends and their cheerful mood certainly encouraged Umi into taking this easy. All in all, it was only a fact that they should share, like many other strange events in their lives that had been happening since long before Weirdo City pulled them in. It wasn't anything too out of the ordinary, that there could be a separate reality where other versions of them existed. And this could be yet another best friends outing.

She picked up the menu a waitress handed over and started going reading it. "I think I'll just have one of the not sweet options. A light one. You guys can knock yourselves out. They got plenty of nice sweet crepes here..."

The waitress wrote down her order and waited for the other Knights to announce their own. Umi stupidly wondered, feeling a bit restless in her seat, what would it be. Their Hikaru loved desserts, right? She was bound to order something luscious and syrup-y. It wouldn't be any different.

Alerted by the friendly touch of the shoulder, Hikaru looked at Fuu and smiled broadly, "Thanks a lot Fuu! That would be--". The fire knight trailed off as she caught sight of one of the varieties. "They have a caramel apple version!? That sounds delicious!". Internally she was debating how they could insert an entire caramel apple into a crepe... but that was silly. It was probably just more of a flavoring thing.

It was a safe bet that Hikaru would target one of the sweeter varieties. Perusing the menu only made the decision that much harder. So in the end she decided to go with the first one that had caught her eye.

Hikaru waited as patiently as possible for her turn. "I'd like to try the caramel apple, please".

In the end, Hikaru's sweet tooth won. Fuu giggled a bit at her enthusiasm, before raising her hand and pointing to a random one on the menu. "I'll be having this, please." She announced and this fleetingly perplexed the waitress before she also jotted down the Wind Knight's order.

When she had already left, Fuu glanced over at her two comrades. "So, what seems to be our today's agenda?" She asked innocently, as if this whole thing was just a simple meeting. But, in her heart, it wasn't and whatever this could be might be important in its own right. She respected the urgency.
