Log; (
The house smelled of roses and homemade bakery... )
Humming a little, she walked the distance from building three to building eight. It was a walk of moderate length, and she enjoyed it, for the weather was nice. For once, she'd chosen a flower-patterned kimono rather than her worn-down flame-patterned one - not an immediate decision, so used had she become to wearing the familiar fabric; but she felt a more festive note might be appropriate.
She had also left her weapons at home.
Finally standing before building eight, she paused a little to heave her shoulders and let a sigh of contentment escape her lips, before she hissed a "yosh!" to herself and entered, walking down the aisle to Umi's apartment. She knocked twice in quick succession and waited.

When she opened the door she was wearing a cheerful smile that got bigger as she greeted Rin. Her first friend in The City! The party wouldn't have been the same without the older girl. "Welcome, Rin! Thanks for coming. I'm really happy you could make it. Please come in and meet everyone."

Excuse me", she said and bent down to untie her sandals. Once she'd taken them off, she entered and placed them neatly next to where the other shoes were lying about.

"Talking about that... We got some nice Japanese tea if you want to start with something traditional." She explained, quite proud of the tea selection she'd made available for her guests. "Green too! Unless you wanna be audacious and go for something more exotic."

"I drink Japanese tea all the time, so I'd really like to try something new!", she answered Umi's question while making her way into the living area, taking everything in with curious eyes. "These are some nice decorations you've come up with!"

"So, how about a really Occidental cup, for a change?" Umi smiled and felt happy she'd raided the tea shop for all available blends, both traditional and otherwise. "Like Earl Grey, Darjeeling or maybe something stronger like a Chai?"

None of the names Umi listed to her told her much, so she just smiled and nodded. "Uhm, just prepare something for me! I'm sure I'll like it.""
