Red. It was the traditional color of spring, what with the robin's red breast and all. Cindy had seen a lot of red and breasts in her day, including her own tonight, clad in a bright red snug off the shoulder number with, of course, with a matching pair of stilettos, her favorite pair.
She definitely stood out from the rest of the partygoers at this party she claimed she wasn't going to attend; but that was her. Cindy bullshitted people everyday and stood out at public affairs. That was her job. It was also her job to stand in the middle of the tent, downing glasses of free champagne. If she was going to suffer through politics today, Cindy wanted to be good and buzzed for it.
Kara had opted for a simple yet fun green dress with a pair of matching heels. Her hair was also up tonight, a rare occurrence for her. Flying was rarely kind on updos.
She circulated through the guests and made small talk with them and thanked them for coming, as was her job. She spotted the woman in the red dress earlier and had slowly made her way over to her. The City was known for beautiful and striking people but even here this woman stood up. It made Kara feel just a bit self conscious. Going up to the woman she smiled broadly and offered her hand.
"I'm Kara," she said. "Thank you so much for coming."
Cindy saw the girl heading towards her as she drained her third glass of the day. She didn't know her from Eve and idly wondered what she wanted when the other female introduced herself.
"Cindy," she replied while mentally giving her approval to Kara's footwear. Cindy could always appreciate good taste. She lightly shook Kara's hand before using that same hand to grab a martini off the tray of a passing waiter. "One of the hosts of this shindig?"
"And yeah, or at least I work for the host," she said, correcting herself. Blair was the host, Kara was just the glorified gofer. "I don't think anyone but Blair can really claim to be the host."
"I don't think anyone but Blair can really claim to be anything that came up with this idea," Cindy smirked, "She doesn't seem like the type. Nice girl, though."
She knew that much just from a few conversations with Blair and paying attention to her network posts just what kind of girl Blair was. Cindy didn't really give a damn, though. Blair had done nothing to her and was relatively unimportant in the whole scheme of things. Just another Mundy that she happened to switch bodies with.
"The plant designs are actually all from a little boy named Shin," Kara explained. She was rather proud of her friend for doing such a great job. "Or it's the plants designs and Shin just convinced them to grow that way, I'm not entirely sure how it works."
Cindy's answer was complete sarcasm but there was a chance that she was spot on. Fables saw a lot of things in their lives and magical skill with growing plants was one of them, albeit at the bottom of the list.
"So... what do you do?" she went on, trying to be nice for one and continue the small talk.
"Glorified gofer," Kara said with a smile. She had no illusions about what she actually was to Blair, but neither did she care. She was a card carrying member of the freaking Justice League, she could handle being a glorified gofer for an interesting job.
She admired the woman's straightforward attitude though. It was kind of refreshing.

She thought about that question for a moment. What did she do? Kara didn't think she had an official title or anything like that.
"I just do whatever Blair asks or tells me to do," she confessed, which was as close to any job description that she had.

Straight and to the point; that's how Cindy shot.
