As soon as he'd heard that Kikyou was here, Inuyasha had been in a hurry to find her. He could smell her familiar scent long before he reached Xanadu - and he had to admit that he'd definitely missed it.
Kikyou.
He raced to Xanadu as fast as he could, running over the trees in some places to land in front of the woman who he could never really keep.
He managed to slow his breathing to normal, even though his heart was racing. It was kind of annoying, really. He hated that kind of thing.
He found Kikyou immediately and walked over to her, appearing as aloof and stand-offish as ever.
"Sorry to keep you waiting," he offered.

The undead miko just stared at the figure, her facial features softening just a bit, as the rest of her imitation clay body remained still seated in place. “It’s fine.” She answered accepting his words. It wasn’t like she had been waiting long, at least it seemed that way.
She noticed that the ticking was lessening now, recalling what she had recently learned. So it is true. Not that she had her doubts but one could never be sure who to trust in such a strange place. “Inuyasha...” She started slowly rising to stand, despite the sudden uncomfortable tinge that flared in her chest. Naraku... However, her face would give no hints of this.
“How have you been?” She began, her brown eyes locking with his golden colored hues. She wondered how much he knew and how long he had been in this strange place, but those questions could wait.
(( OOC: It's alright, no worries. LJ has been screwy lately with the emailing of comments. Evil thing. >___> ))
