Happy Times
Weekend was much yay!
Cooked a scrummy meal with Drew on Friday and had wee Niccy Fletch. over for tea too. I am perfecting my apple crumble technique mwahaha.
Goth vrs Industrial was much much fun! Had peoples over to mine for predrinks which was rad, might as well make use of my pad in the city. Damn everyone was sooooo purty! It was great to get all dolled up and stomp around on the dance floor, even got Sulky McSulk Drew out for the evening. Great wee venue, LOVED the zebra print around the walls! *squee* The short DJ sets worked amazingly well, I really enjoyed the switching of music styles throughout the night.
Yesterday the best friend got back into the country and I got thoughtful trinkets and chocolate <3
Aaaand more swing dancing tonight with Lisa and James and Kathrine YAY!!! Love the lindy hop!
I was going to post a whole bunch of swing dance vids but then I found this little gem. I LOVE this song too, first heard it from Ladies in Blue.
I have just watched A LOT of swing videos and this is so my favourite. They're not too flashy, not too fast, dance beautifully together, chose a great song, add cute bits of personality into it and yes, that's two cute boys dancing there :D
I am LOVING going to dancing classes again and am so keen to pick up some more!
