For those who may have heard of the movie, the TV series predated it by several years, and had absolutely nothing to do with it. The series is about a government agency that fights vampires (though the word vampire is never used in the series). The main character isn't the greatest, but some of the supporting cast, including a couple of women, are absolutely awesome.

So it doesn't have a proper conclusion. That being said, I'm still quite happy with a lot of it. Keri generally kicks a certain amount of arse and, possibly unsurprisingly, is rather gay.
