Yoga is such a fun way to start one's day. I started 4 months ago and loved it from the very first lesson. I know many peple think it's boring. I guess for some, it is. It's not very dynamic or aerobic unless you count Ashtanga yoga or the new hybrid yogas, such as yoga dance and the like. As I've never been a dynamic or aerobic person, even on the rare occasions when I did do aerobics or went to the gym, yoga suits me just fine. It makes a lot of sense for me to rest after each position (asana). It makes a lot of sense to focus on quality rather than quantity, namely to try to improve the accuracy of each pose so that your body gets the most out of it rather than repeating it numerous time till your heart rate soars to sky high levels. And this whole body mind connection thing really works for me. For years, I used to say that all I want from life is peace and quiet, and I never had them. Now I do. Serenity now, insanity never.
